Kickboxing is available to ages from 6 years upwards and is structured to the individual. Men, Women and Children will all benefit.
All new students are treated as unfit so we start everybody off slowly until the desired level of fitness is reached. When training you work within your limits, build up fitness levels, obtain coordination and hopefully lose weight over a period of time. You are not made to feel uncomfortable.
All of our instructors undergo rigorous top level training to ensure they meet our very high standards and are approachable at all times. All instructors are CRB checked.
No! Very few students actually want to fight or have physical contact, so no student is ever forced to fight. Those who wish to, can be accommodated when they are proficient in their kickboxing skills and also have full protective equipment. A special sparring class is available for students who are interested in learning fighting skills or with a view to entering competitions.
All students must wear the official uniform that is provided on joining the organisation, which consists of tunic or “t” shirt, trousers and belt.
We do work to a syllabus but you do not have to grade if you do not want to, feel free to just come and train. Grading is recommended, as it is a good way of assessing your progress.
It is recommended that students train at least once a week and if possible two or three times. Classes are available most days of the week and are within easy travelling distance from each other.
We provide the best instruction anywhere and if it is combined with your commitment to regular training, you will make very fast progress.
It is natural that everyone taking up kickboxing for the first time will feel slightly nervous. Do not worry, everyone else will to. Classes are conducted in a fun and friendly atmosphere, so you will not feel uncomfortable.
Our fees are very reasonable and are structured according to length of class and frequency of training. It is advisable to book an induction lesson with the instructor first.
