Rock Solid Kickboxing provides highly skilled and trained Martial Arts Instructors to visit schools and communities to teach students self defence techniques that will enable them to defend themselves. Our instructors highlight the dangers of being involved in street and knife crime and help the students to become aware of the effects of bullying towards others,emphasising and guiding students to lead a positive and respectful life, if we respect ourselves we will respect others!

The instructors skills are based on kickboxing and Ju Jitsu. We aim to motivate young people so they are able to achieve positive goals in life and succeed in all their aspirations. The core of our seminars helps young people to realise the importance of healthy exercise, improved fitness levels and a good nutritional diet.

We are based in London, Middlesex, Bucks and Hertfordshire but are available to visit at any venue to help and assist in all your needs related to what we do at Streetwise Fitwise.

Schools and Communities

We can come into your school or community hall to teach martial arts self defence with the emphasis being on safety when using techniques, an understanding on the laws of self defence, talk about anti bullying, specifically talk about the dangers of street and knife crime and talk about the importance of exercising and healthy diet at a young age, so that later on in life they will be fit and healthy.

Students are always encouraged to participate in all activites and conversations so that we build their confidence and self estem, taught that respect for themselves and others will stand them in good stead for all their goals and aspirations.

Over the many years we have been teaching at schools we have had great success with students with many changing their views on society from negative to positive and are now on a path to a greater future, a fact that Sreetwise Fitwise are very proud of.

At Your Place Of Work

We also offer a service of coming into your place of work and run self defence defence classes either as one off sessions or a block booking depending on your needs. Many people are afraid to go to the car park to collect their car for fear of being attacked; afraid of the long walk home in the dark, feel the need to protect their families against abuse and attack, we can help you conquer these fears!

Seminars are based on teaching you uncomplicated street defence techniques to defend yourself or loved ones, given an insight about reasonable force regarding the laws on how far you can go for self defence and teach you about awarenes of your surroundings to not put yourself in situations that could make you vulnerable.

Kickboxing is an intense physical sport and has high demands on the body. There is no denying that. While other martial arts and combat can be draining, and require endurance, no other art is reliant on explosive knockout power as kickboxing training. Grappling definitely requires strength, but it is quite possible to pull off a submission on skill, knowledge, leverage, and finesse, without brute strength.

Kickboxing training has a much higher demand on physical conditioning, because the speed and power of the punch or kick directly determine the effectiveness. RSK will help you build the different physical skill sets you need to develop your KO power as a kickboxer.

Build A Fitter Body Through Kickboxing!

When athletes, especially in kickboxing training, talk about endurance, they usually just say Cardio. It is a different kind of endurance, as it uses the aerobic energy system to keep you running. This is the endurance that is the difference between barely breaking a sweat in your kickboxing training versus gasping for air. You can develop this in a number of ways, and the most common is hopping on a treadmill. Nothing wrong in that, if you’re doing it the right way.

However, way too many people think of just running for 15-20 minutes. That’s a great timeframe, but what do you do during that 15-20 minutes? What’s better? Running a mile in 10 minutes, or a mile and a half in 10 minutes? You’re doing more work in less time. That’s going to keep you at an elevated heart rate, you’ll expend more energy, your heart will become stronger, and you’ll push harder.
